Dual Diagnosis e-Therapy Service Coordinator

Self Help Services is currently looking to recruit a motivated individual to take up an eTherapy coordinator role within a new dual diagnosis e-Therapy service based in Rochdale. The coordinator will develop, co-ordinate and deliver an eTherapy service to support people experiencing common mental health problems such as depression and/or anxiety who are affected by drug or alcohol use. The role will involve liaising with statutory and non-statutory organizations as well as reporting service outcomes. These opportunities are particularly suited to people who are interested in pursuing a career in community work and service management within the mental health or addiction field.

Information Analyst

Self Help Services is seeking to recruit a motivated individual, with the skills required to work as an Information Analyst, to support the Informatics and Governance Lead to provide a responsive Information Service for Self Help Services – supporting it to attain its organisation objectives. The job will require close working with senior managers and other staff members within the charity to ensure ever-improving access to service and business information – enabling the organisation to take vital strategic and operational decisions. The post holder will be expected to have excellent communication skills and possess leadership competencies as there will be both a management and training component to the role. In addition to having the credentials for – and interest in – working as an effective Information analyst, the successful candidate will be committed to working within the organisation’s vision and values and be passionate about improving the lives of people living with mental health problems.

Placement and Experience Coordinator

Self Help Services are looking for motivated and experienced individual to coordinate and promote the work placement, volunteering and apprenticeship opportunities across all areas of Self Help Services – ensuring a positive experience for both placementees and the charity. The post holders will work alongside service managers to identify and recruit to placement opportunities, in particular for those people with lived experience of mental health problems. The successful candidate will have experience of working with volunteers and/ or those on work placements or apprenticeships.  Self Help Services welcomes applications from people with personal experience of mental health problems.

Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner

We are looking for motivated Qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (PWP) to join our psychological wellbeing service in St Helens. The post holders will work in a multi-disciplinary team, which includes other PWPs, HITs and Clinical Psychology within a stepped care model to provide a range of NICE approved low intensity interventions for depression and anxiety disorders. Treatment will be delivered through a range of modalities including face-to-face work, telephone therapy and facilitating structured groups.

The successful candidates will be skilled in delivering low intensity therapy, highly motivated with the ability to organise and prioritise their own workload and will have successfully completed an approved IAPT PWP PGCert/Diploma. Self Help Services can provide excellent opportunities for ongoing personal and professional development through regular supervision and training opportunities.
