Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £19,409 per annum

About the role

We are looking for motivated individuals to work as Trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (PWP) within our expanding Talking Therapies services acrossManchester, Stockport, Rochdale or Eastern Cheshire. The post holders will work alongside other PWPs within a stepped care model to provide a range of NICE approved low intensity interventions for depression and anxiety disorders. Treatment will be delivered through a range of modalities including face-to-face work, telephone therapy and facilitating structured groups. The post holder will also attend the University of Manchester, completing an IAPT compliant PgCert in Low intensity Working.

The successful candidates will be highly motivated and passionate about improving the lives of those experiencing common mental health problems, with the ability to organise and prioritise their own workload. Applicants not holding an honours degree (2:2 or above) or equivalent from a recognised institution, will need to submit a portfolio document with their application to demonstrate academic ability (please see non-standard portfolio entry document).
