Community Services Assistant Manager, Manchester

We are looking for motivated and experienced individual to assist the Community Services Manager in the development, delivery and promotion of our Community Services provision. These peer-delivered services are undergoing a period of significant expansion, presenting an exciting opportunity to support the development of our peer support and non-clinical recovery-orientated services.

The postholder will manage specific services within the Community Services Department, including:

  1. Responsibility for budgets
  2. Planning, development and evaluation of services
  3. Data recording and reporting against targets (SHS and commissioner’s) and liaison with commissioners
  4. Governance and risk management processes (clinical governance, safeguarding, incidents, risk registers, comments and complaints etc)
  5. Quality management
  6. Line management of staff including all supervision, appraisals and any other HR interventions

The successful candidate will be skilled in developing productive partnerships with key agencies, developing, implementing and evaluating services.. You will be highly motivated with the ability to organise and prioritise your own workload, and effectively manage and support service managers/ coordinators.

Trainee IAPT Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner, Manchester

We are looking for motivated individuals to work as Trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (PWP) within our expanding Psychological Wellbeing Service in Manchester.  The post holders will work alongside other PWPs within a stepped care model to provide a range of NICE approved low intensity interventions for depression and anxiety disorders.

Treatment will be delivered through a range of modalities including face-to-face work, telephone therapy and facilitating structured groups. The post holder will also attend the University of Manchester, completing an IAPT compliant PgCert in Low intensity Working. The successful candidates will be highly motivated and passionate about improving the lives of those experiencing common mental health problems, with the ability to organise and prioritise their own workload. Applicants not holding an honours degree (2:2 or above) or equivalent from a recognised institution, will need to submit a portfolio document with their application to demonstrate academic ability (please see person specification for details).
