Post-Crisis Peer Support Coordinator, Salford

We are looking for a motivated and experienced individual to provide a post-crisis non-clinical support service in Salford to two main client groups, including:

  1. Those presenting at Salford Royal Infirmary in mental health crisis but who do not meet thresholds for admission to secondary/acute care services.
  2. Those who present frequently at acute and emergency services with mental health issues, self harm and suicidal thoughts/intentions – including those with Personality Disorder traits

Working closely with the A&E Mental Health Liaison Team based at Salford Royal Infirmary and with GMP Salford, the post-holder will support this client cohort at various points through their engagement with emergency services and acute care services.
